What qualifies me to take the General Lines Agent's Exam (2-20)?

One (1) year's experience in All Lines with a company or agency, or four year degree with 15 hours of Property & Casualty courses (within the last 4 years), or 200 Hour Property and Casualty Course (see our class schedule for this course).  Back

 

What qualifies me to take the Adjuster's Exam (3-20; 5-20; 6-20)?

Florida Resident; 18 years old; pass exam (See our class schedule for Exam Prep Class).  Note:  Non-Resident Public Adjusters take our Florida Exam.  Our Exam Prep Class gets great results.  Back

 

What is the difference between the Adjusters 3-20 Public; 5-20 Independent; and 6-20 Company employee licenses?  

Simply who you work for and what you do.  The three licenses are interchangeable and the exams are identical.  If you work as an Independent Adjuster and want to go to work for a public adjusters firm or an insurance company it is just a matter of being appointed by your new employer and in the case of the P.A., posting a bond.  Back

 

What qualifies me to take the Customer Service Representative's exam?

Six (6) months experience in All Lines with a company or agency, or a 100 hour course offered online by a number of junior colleges.   Back

 

What qualifies me to take the Life, Health and Variable exam (2-15)?

Take 40 hour Life, Health and Variable course.  (see our class schedule.Back

 

How do I sign up to take Florida Exams?

By exam application on the Florida Insurance Department's web site (see our Links).  Experior administers the exam in Florida. (www.experioronline.comBack

 

What if I plan to move to Florida from another state or country?

You will need to have your licenses, where you now are licensed, made non-resident or cancelled.  You will need a letter of clearance from your Insurance Department.  If you have one (1) year experience as a licensee you can get your Florida license by doing the above and applying for your license as soon as you become a resident.  Back

You cannot register for class at the Tampa office. There are no Books, CDs, or Flash Cards available for purchase at the Tampa office. Registration for class and purchase of books, etc. MUST be done through the Tallahassee office or from this website.
